I'm Roja Bagheri, M.A. and my goal is to provide you a safe space to process all that preoccupies you in order to live an authentic and meaningful life. While being present, gentle, curious and open, I strive to identify the areas in your life that need care and attention. The Guest House

This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they are a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice. meet them at the door laughing and invite them in. Be grateful for whatever comes. because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.

Registered Clinical Counsellor(#14909) and Sexual Health Educator

I am a trilingual (English, French and Farsi) Registered Clinical Counsellor as well as a trained Sexual Health Educator. I received my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and my Sexual Health training from Options for Sexual Health. I did further specialty training in Existential Analysis with the Existential Analysis Society of Canada. I have made North Vancouver my home for the past 25 years and I am dedicated in uplifting my community’s well-being.

Free 15min Consultation

$175 tax inclusive for a 60min Individual Virtual Counselling Session

Approach:
I take on an integrative approach to counselling. I draw from different theories and philosophies when providing my services, these include: Existential Analysis, Anti-oppressive framework, Narrative therapy, Person-centered therapy, Sex-positive framework, Humanistic, Collaborative, Trauma informed, and Cross-cultural.
